Haagen-Dazs Raising Money For Disney Trips

50 percent of each sale made on July 25 will go to a nonprofit that sends ill children and their families to Disney World.

Two Cumberland-area Haagen-Dazs ice cream franchises will need your help to raise money for a nonprofit organization that gives seriously ill children long trips to Disney World.

From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on July 25, the Haagen-Dazs in Cumberland Mall and its sister location on Cobb Parkway will donate 50 percent of each sale to Bert's Big Adventure, which provides five-day long trips to Disney World for terminally and chronically ill children and their families.

In the four years that Haagen-Dazs has participated with Bert's Big Adventure, the ice cream chain has raised $23,000, The Marietta Daily Journal reports.
