Looking for a job? Well, The Home Depot is planning to hire more than 1,500 season employees in metro Atlanta for the busy spring season. According to the Vinings-based retailer, many of the seasonal jobs, which typically last around 120 days, could turn into permanent positions.
"A seasonal job at The Home Depot can often lead to a regular position if you're passionate about customer service," Home Depot’s Executive Vice President for Human Resources Tim Crow said in a statement.
The jobs, which will be filled throughout metro Atlanta’s Home Depot locations including , include inside sales associates, lot attendants, cashiers, home and garden associates, and more. To apply online, visit careers.homedepot.com or visit one of the individual stores in person.
Monday’s a holiday, but it’s hiring day at , which is having a mini job fair on Martin Luther King Jr., Day from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You must arrive by 12:30 to be included, as they have a session starting at 1 p.m. that they need to prepare for.
Sparkles, located at 666 Smyrna Hill Drive, is looking to fill various positions and this job fair is only for positions at the Smyrna location. Deliver seven days per week and earn $1,000 and up per month. Payment is every other week. The distribution window is from 2 a.m. – 6 a.m. during the week and 2 a.m. - 8 a.m. on weekends.
