Good Friday is the time that Christians commemorate the suffering and death on the cross of Jesus Christ. In preparation for Easter Sunday, many will spend this day fasting and in prayer and meditation on the agony that Jesus suffered.

On Wednesday, more than 300 students, many from the Vinings area, walked, biked, roller bladed and even floated on the Chattahoochee River to school. A total of 436 students also carpooled to Lovett that day.
