Learn How to Do Business With Cobb County This Week
A seminar will be held Thursday afternoon in Marietta to explain ways businesses can cooperate with county government.
Business owners who are interested in becoming vendors for county functions and working with Cobb County's government are invited to the final "How to Do Business With Cobb" seminar of 2013.
The seminar will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Senior Wellness Center in Marietta. The seminar will feature talks about vendor opportunities, chances to meet department heads, network with fellow business owners, and learn about the Local Vendor Preference.
Representatives from the Cobb County School System will also be on hand to discuss vendor opportunities.
According to Cobb County, more than 13,900 small business and over 9,300 large business opportunities were handed out by county government during 2011 alone.
