The Corner Taqueria is the newest concept from the owners of and . It opens Wednesday in the restaurant space formerly home to The Village Café,
According to its website, The Corner Taqueria offers gourmet tacos served a la carte, fresh salsa, craft beer and more than 40 different types of tequila.

Owners originally advertised that the restaurant would open in spring 2012 in time for Cinco de Mayo. to remodel the space, which now includes an enclosed patio, larger bar and other renovations.
According to its Facebook page, the restaurant will open its doors at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Food will be served until 10 p.m. and the bar will serve until midnight or later.
