Vinings Jubilee Turns 25

The landmark lifestyle center located in the heart of Vinings Village is set to celebrate with a Saturday night party and free concert.

It will a smooth rocking celebration Saturday night as the popular cover band Yacht Rock Schooner sails in to help Vinings Jubilee celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Opening in 1986, Vinings Jubilee is a collection of fine boutiques, restaurants and specialty shops located in the heart of Vinings Village.

This summer, Vinings Jubilee constructed a brand new outdoor “Tower Stage” that has already hosted a few entertainment events. But on Saturday, Yacht Rock Schooner will musically christen the Tower Stage with their mixture of Kenny Loggins, the Gibb brothers and Michael McDonald, with just a hint of Christopher Cross thrown in.

“We are excited for the community of Vinings to come together for this celebration,” says Mike Hammer, President of Paces Holdings. “With the addition of the Tower Stage and this celebratory programming, we are able to say thanks to everyone who has been loyal to us for the past 25 years.”

As music fills the air, so will the aromas of your favorite dining spots. All of the Vinings restaurants will be hitting the streets with outdoor stands so you can purchase select food items all while taking in the vibrant atmosphere of the village.

This is the perfect time to sample specialty food items from all your favorite Vinings Jubilee restaurants. Beer and wine will also be available to purchase, and guests can make their way inside several participating restaurants for full menu and bar service.

As the Vinings community celebrates, it also plans to give back. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will go directly to the Vinings Community Conservation Alliance (VCCA) for future community improvement projects.

The celebration takes place from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and the concert is free.
