Weeknight fun Monday on Through

Tonight's Terrapin Beer Dinner at Meehan's and Ike Stubblefield joining the Lefty Williams Band jam at Bella's jump start get-out-of-the-house-at-night week.

The weekend is over, but the fun doesn’t have to end Monday. Keep the weekend spirit alive with events throughout Smyrna and Vinings in the first half of the work week.

Monday is serving up a . The dinner includes four courses and an amus bouche all paired with a craft beer. This dinner’s theme was chosen by popular vote last month.

“Last month we had an IPA Social,” said Brandon Holte, executive chef at Meehan’s. “There were five beers that were represented. So we did a social. There were apps passed with each course. All the people who attended voted on whichever beer they liked the best. Whichever won got a beer dinner this month. And that was Terrapin Hospecutioner.”

The main course will be Smoked Hopsecutioner Barbecue Pork Ribs, which was inspired by the winning beer. Dinner is $45 and does not include tax or gratuity. To see the complete menu and make reservations visit here.

Tuesday night is family night at from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kids can enjoy face painting, balloons and a movie on the big screen TV. The kids’ buffet is $1.50 per child. But McCray’s didn’t forget about mom and dad with all bottles of wine at half price.

Also be sure to check out Luau Night at the 3100 South Cobb Drive location of Chick-fil-A from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. This week’s family night is luau themed with a limbo, arts and crafts and a caricature artist. All activities are free. 

The Vinings Summer Wine Stroll is this Wednesday. Registration begins at 6 p.m. and the event starts at 7. Stops on the stroll include , Vinings Fish Co. and . Each stop will feature wine and food pairings. Vinings Inn will also offer live music and entrants are entered into a raffle. A portion of the proceeds benefits Atlanta Small Dog Rescue. Advanced registration is $5. Admission is $10 if you purchase tickets at the door.

hosts Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. All musicians are invited to perform and admission is free. Bring your instrument or borrow one from another performer.

Go ahead and mark your calendar for Rev’s Night of Painting, Refreshments and Fun July 21 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rev has teamed up with Get Creative ATL to host a painting party. Participants will learn how to paint a colorful abstract. The $30 admission fee covers art supplies and a drink. Register here www.getcreativeatl.com

If you’re in the doghouse because you forgot yesterday was Father’s Day, you can redeem yourself by signing dad up for a Dad Meats Grill Cooking Class at. Dad will learn how to prepare Georgia shrimp and Sapelo Island clams, bacon-wrapped Georgia quail and country pork ribs. The class costs $45 and includes lunch and beer.
