Who is Smyrna's Citizen of the Year?
The announcement will be made at a Thursday morning breakfast sponsored by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.
The Smyrna Area Council of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce will announce the 2013 Smyrna Citizen of the Year at a special presentation at Whitefield Academy on Thursday morning.
The event will feature a breakfast and run from 7:45 - 9:00 a.m.
Apart from naming the Jonquil City's first citizen, there will be a presentation from Walter Brown of Jamestown Properties regarding the progress of the Riverview Landing mixed-use development along the Chattahoochee River.
Admission at the door is $30 for the general public, or $20 for members of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.
Last year, the Chamber of Commerce named Jay Wallace as Smyrna's Citizen of the Year.
