Local Smyrna-Vinings Company Named Finalist for 2014 Housewares Design Awards

The Casteline Fix Handle 4.7-Quart Saute Pan from Cristel was selected as a Finalist for the Cookware & Bakeware category in the prestigious 2014 Housewares Design Awards.  This means that it is in the running for the “Best of the Best” Awards that will be given to the best housewares products of the year at the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.

The Housewares Design Awards is the industry’s premier independent awards competition.  Winners will be announced at the Housewares Design Awards presentation ceremony and luncheon on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Cristel’s Casteline Fix Handle 4.7-quart Sauté Pan features a 5-ply encapsulated bottom and a 3-ply side. The flat base is made of 10/0 stainless steel for induction compatibility and the pan is oven safe up to 600°F. The pan is recovered with stainless steel for induction compatibility and is dishwasher safe.

An independent panel of judges selected these finalists based on their superior design, appearance, function and originality. The Housewares Design Awards are presented by HomeWorld Business and sponsored by NY Now®, Gourmet Insider Magazine and Whitford Corporation.
