Today was my first and last time at this pharmacy. I dropped off a simple prescription and Malcolm informed me the two medications would be ready in 20 minutes. He kept my discount card assuring me that he would be working until 11 p.m. When I returned 45 minutes later the medications still were not ready. After being redirected to the parking lot to wait for 15 more minutes, a different tech, Evan, advised that the medicines were now ready. Except they weren't. He had only filled one of the two. I finally checked out and upon opening my bags on the way home realized my discount card had not been returned. I immediately telephoned the pharmacy (literally 5 minutes after leaving) and asked to speak with Malcolm, thinking he would be the best and fastest person to locate the card and set it aside for me since he was the last to have it in his possession. The person on the phone was extremely rude and told me Malcolm had already gone home for the evening. I explained that I had JUST left minutes ago and that Malcolm was definitely there and had assured me he would be there for several more hours. He refused to look for Malcolm so I asked for Evan and was given the same lie that he had already left for the night. The rude, rude employee then hung up on me. I called back thinking perhaps this was an accident, but no, the rude employee said that he didn't have time to be bothered with my call. I asked to speak with a manager and he said there were none available until tomorrow (another lie) and again hung up. I called back through a different number and finally reached the store manager Sean Croney to 1) attempt to locate my discount card kept at CVS' error and 2) report the rude employee answering the phone in the pharmacy. As it turns out, the exceptionally rude employee was none other than THE PHARMACIST, DR. EVAN WARD. Sean said he was stunned by the rude behavior, poor customer service, and outright lies (Malcolm was indeed still on duty), but he said nothing could be done about rude doctors being jerks to customers. It took another hour for him to locate and set aside my card. Needless to say, I will not be back.
