Gator Seen Along Chattahoochee River

The gator was about 300 pounds, according to one witness.

Residents at apartments on the Powers Ferry Road side of the Chattahoochee River beware.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, a hiker took a photo of a 300-pound alligator near the Cobb side of the Chattahoochee River.

The gator was about 8 to 10 feet, according to one witness who showed photos to WSB-TV.
