Get Ready for Jonquil City Jog 5K

Lace up your shoes and get ready for the 2013 Jonquil City Jog 5K in downtown Smyrna this weekend. At the annual Peachtree Qualifier race this Saturday, April 27, you will get to run or walk for fun, prizes, and to support local schools.

On-site registration will take place 7 a.m. at the Smyrna City Hall located at 2800 King Street, followed by the race at 8 a.m. To participate, you can click here to register now at Active.com through 6 p.m. this Thursday, April 25, or register in person at the Smyrna Community Center by noon on Friday, April 26.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Campbell High School Educational Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial and community support to Campbell High School students.

• 7 a.m.—Registration & Packet Pick-up
• 8 a.m.—5K Run/Walk 
• 9 a.m.—Fun Run & Fitness Walk 
• 9:15 a.m.—Tot Trot

Fees

• 5K Timed Run—$25
• 5K Untimed Walk/Run—$20
• 1K Fun Run - $15
• Tot Trot for kids 5 & under—FREE
• Teams of 10 or more (5K Timed Run)—$22 
• Team 5K Untimed Walk/Run—$17

Race Day Fees 

• $30 for timed runner
• $25 for untimed walker/runner

Awards & Prizes

Awards will be presented to the Overall and Masters male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in 15 age groups from 8 & under to 70 & over. All first place winners will also receive key lime pies, and all participants in the Fun Run will receive a commemorative ribbon.
