1. Deadly hit-and-run. Smyrna police continue to seek the hit-and-run driver who killed 48-year-old Tony Kuykendall on Saturday night.

The Paulding County resident was walking along Old Concord Road with his 14-year-old son, Oscar Ortiz, when the accident occurred. The son told Channel 2 Action News that his father was hit from behind, and Kuykendall, the father of four children, later died at Kennestone Hospital.

Kuykendall reportedly was unemployed and didn’t have insurance. A fund in his name has been set up and donations can be made at any Bank of America.
