Smyrna Kicks Off Jonquil Festival with Run
Today's Jonquil City Jog drew more than a thousand runners to downtown Smyrna for a pleasant morning 5k run.
Hundreds of runners ran (or walked) the 5 kilometers of the Jonquil City Jog through downtown Smyrna as a prelude to the Spring Jonquil Festival this morning. Proceeds of the race, a Peachtree 10K qualifier, benefit the Campbell High School Educational Foundation. Campbell High School is a recipient of a Georgia School of Excellence award and has an outstanding International Baccalaureate program.
