The Hidden Tax on Us All

The reckless money printing has to stop.

The hidden tax on us is the current and ongoing high level of printing money by the federal reserve in tandem with the U.S. government.  Over the past 5 years more than 2 trillion dollars has been "injected" into the economy.  The direct results of this high level scheme will be devastating to our national and local economies of scale.  While this is not the most exciting topic of the day, it is of utmost importance.

Every commodity is affected by inflated currency, and in turn, we are also even more impacted in a detrimental way by this in our daily lives.  This is the largest single "tax" that has ever been imposed on the United States citizens.  This affects the average person or family making $40,000 a year and even the "big wigs" making millions.

At last check, oil, gold, silver, copper, and even orange juice are at near record highs.  Worse yet, the translation never goes to wages, salaried employees and especially retirees on fixed incomes.  For example, the current price of a barrel of oil is around $97.  In "real" market terms, gas at the pump should be hovering around $2.30-$2.40 a gallon.  We are paying nearly a $1 more per gallon due to inflated currency imposed on us by unelected people in charge of the banking system.  Have you purchased orange juice lately?  All containers used to be uniform in 64oz containers.  Now every brand uses 59.5 oz. containers, just shaped the same way with a higher cost too.

The era of reckless spending, whether on an unfunded war, or an unfunded liability needs to end soon or our entire economy will come cascading down faster than you think.  Remember what happened to the Weimar republic in Germany from 1919-1932.  They had different reasons for their debt, but the results were devastating.  They tried to print their way out of debt, just as we are doing today. Another economy teetering on the brink of ruin is Mexico.  They have printed their way into a third world disaster.  Does anyone want a peso?

If we do not find men and women with courage and conviction soon to change our monetary policy we will be another also ran as a nation.  A large war may result which will have cataclismic results for the world.  Think of what a war with a nation like China or Russia.  These countries are not friendly to our ways of resolving disputes.  We need real problem solvers in positions of authority soon, not political animals who bow to every whim of the public.  The clock is ticking people, time to wake up.
