Now that the kids are back to school, schedules are busier than ever. Parents who are pinched on time during the week don’t have to skimp on hearty and delicious dinners. These meals are not only crowd-pleasers, but only take 30 minutes or less to prepare.

  • Wild Rice Chicken Dinner – Reader Lorraine Hanson from Independence, Iowa, uses ready-to-serve wild rice to cut prep time. The dish can be made in advance and frozen for a super quick and easy meal.
  • Honey Grilled Shrimp – “My husband was given this super-simple recipe by a man who sold shrimp at the fish market. It’s now become our family’s absolute favorite shrimp recipe!” raves Lisa Blackwell from Henderson, North Carolina.
