Confessions of a Welfare Mom "The Monologues"

On December 14th 2013, Atlanta, Georgia will be hosting a show for “Confessions of a Welfare Mom: The Monologues” produced by the EmPOWERment Corp., LLC.  “Confessions of a Welfare Mom” is an urban anthology series that allows women from all walks of life to share their personal experiences. The Monologues is a live show that like the book will shed light on the many faces of welfare.  This shows intent is to not only entertain but to incite dialogue that there is life after welfare.

The show’s creator Ms. Kiwan N. Fitch has worked with various populations and organizations in the Social Service Industry for the last 18 years.  It was her experience in this field that impelled her to create an outlet for women to express themselves about their predicament on public assistance.
