America Recycles Day

Keep Smyrna Beautiful will be celebrating America Recycles Day at the Smyrna Recycling Center with a "Recycler Appreciation Event". People who drop off items for recycling will receive their choice of a free t-shirt or recycling tote, plus other goodies while supplies last. The Center is located at 645 Smyrna Hill Drive and will be open from noon until 8:00 pm (the regular Thursday hours- other days are 8AM-4PM). Most recyclable items are accepted, including electronics, glass, #1 and #2 plastic bottles, plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, paper, cardboard, books, shoes, aluminum cans, other metals, cooking oil and used motor oil.
