Local author, Deborah Elizabeth Merriman, book signing event at the Vinings Club.  Hiding Places, A Memoir from the Pirate Princess of Tybee Island.  Check out Amazon for a quick review.  Truly inspirational, poetic, witty and humorous about a little girl growing up in and around Savannah and Tybee Island in the 1950s.  Deborah Elizabeth retreated to her hiding places for solace and bonded with nature as she transitioned in and out of many living arrangements.  Her capers will take the readers on various journeys - sometimes like a female Huck Finn.
