RISE UP SMYRNA: We need support for the 7 and 8 year-old Smyrna Spartan football teams today. Due to a NWGYFL scheduling quirk both teams play at the same time. One in Hiram and the other way across Cobb County in Acworth. Good luck to Coach Bill Harris and Coach Broderick Archie, they are both one game away from the Super Bowl. Smyrna (8-3) vs. Hiram (8-2) at 6 p.m. (7-year-old). Smyrna (10-1) vs. Acworth (11-0) at 6:30 p.m. 105 (8-year-old)

This is Garrison Plantation - Garrison Lakes - Lakefront Vista. I lived there when it was family…Read More owned. It went from sister to brother then sold. Changed name from Garrison Plantation (because it wasn't PC) (but no one thought about what a garrison was) to Garrison Lakes (there's only one lake) to Lakefront Vista (under new ownership.) It's a dump now. The layout and size of the apts. are great. Even the location is great. Still know some people there. But it went downhill.

Its sad, that young people who are gay and often struggle to accept themselves as they are, face…Read More such fury and rejection by a church that preaches love, compassion and forgiveness for most but not all. No wonder many young people, the vast majority of whom are or will be heterosexual find the church increasingly irrelevant in their lives with attitudes like this.
