KRITTERS & KIDS FUNFEST

KRITTERS & KIDS FUNFEST
An educational experience for kids and their parents about their kritters

Cobb County Animal Control (CCAC) will host their second “KRITTERS AND KIDS” Funfest on July 20, 2013.  The event is part of CCAC’s continuing efforts to help find homes for the homeless animals of Cobb County through public awareness and working closely with the community to find more fur-ever homes for the homeless and abandoned animals at the Shelter.

Last year, this event featured a variety of groups/organizations that spoke on safety, health, and good pet ownership.  Among this year’s expanded program, parents and children can:  meet ferret and reptile rescues, find out the importance of vet visits for your pets, learn if your dog could become a therapy dog, meet a trainer who will demonstrate agility exercises, check out why cats make great pets for some families, understand how some dogs become more than just a pet to a diabetic patient, and much more!

The upcoming event is Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  It is indoors, and is a free event!
