Meet Bobby Wilson and learn about Community Gardening

Meet Bobby Wilson, immediate past President of the American Community Garden Association and avid community gardener, on Thursday July 17th at 6:30 p.m.  His talk and Q and A will be held at the UGA Cobb County Cooperative Extension at 678 South Cobb Drive, Suite 200, Marietta, Ga.  30060.  Mr. Wilson is the guest speaker of Cobb Community Gardens, an association dedicated to supporting and promoting community gardens thoroughout Cobb County.  

In addition to leading the ACGA, the largest community garden association in the United States and Canada, Mr. Wilson is the President and CEO of Metro Atlanta Urban Farm and Program Director for The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension/Atlanta Urban Gardening Progam.  As Program Director he  provides garden instruction and support to some 300 gardens at public housing complexes, shelters, schools, churches and elder care facilities in metro Atlanta.
