Nutritional Label Clues

Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna will offer “Nutritional Label Clues” on Wednesday, October 2 at 7:00 p.m.  Having a hard time knowing what to look at when reading the nutrition information label?  Or do you just avoid it all together and buy based on the front of the package?  Going shopping while reading the nutrition label can take hours if you don’t know what you are looking for.  Jennifer McGlown, Dietary Director, Emory-Adventist Hospital, will teach you how to decipher those confusing nutritional labels, educate you on the updated requirements from the FDA on safe labeling practices, and explain how you can understand what ingredients are actually in the foods that you eat.  Register by calling 770-319-2025.
