Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna will host “Why Forgive” on Tuesday, February 11, at 7:00 PM. People often focus on forgiveness concerning how it will impact the person being forgiven and their feelings and well-being. Forgiveness is not a mandate to agree with actions of wrongdoers, nor is it an agreement to welcome those individuals back into your life without holding them accountable for their actions. There are physical and psychological benefits to forgiving others and forgiving yourself. This presentation will teach the benefits of forgiveness, how to forgive others and yourself, and give you steps to do so. If you choose to forgive you can live a healthier and happier life through finding more inner peace.
