Smyrna Nurse Wins Second Chance Lottery

The Smyrna family won $20,000, partially because of their son's choice of envelope.

A Smyrna woman who submitted her unlucky Georgia Lottery instant game tickets had a turn of fortune when those tickets netted her $20,000.

Crystal Corrazzini, a 28-year-old Smyrna nurse, entered the lottery's Play it Again Second Chance Promotion and won the chance to pick from 20 different envelopes, ranging in value from $5,000 to $100,000.

Corrazzini told The Marietta Daily Journal that her seven-year-old son chose envelope number 7; inside that envelope was a $20,000 prize.

Crystal, her husband Bryan and their son are going to go on a vacation with the money and save for the youngest Corrazzini's college, the MDJ reports.
