Halloween should be a fun, safe evening that allows children to explore the world around them and make wonderful memories while dressing up in awesome costumes and gorging themselves on candy.
A key point of tonight's trick-or-treating safety should be avoidance of areas with high numbers of registered sex offenders. According to Crimereports.com, there are currently 62 registered sex offenders in the Smyrna-Vinings area.
Please visit the Crimereports.com website to see the sex offenders nearest to you and plan your child's trick-or-treating activities to avoid these areas if at all possible,
