Cobb Galleria Festival of Trees Begins Monday

Last year the event raised nearly $30,000 for local charities.

Visitors to the Cobb Galleria Centre will have the opportunity to "vote with their wallets" in support of their favorite charitable organization during the fourth annual Cobb Galleria Festival of Trees.

38 trees from different charities and non-profit organizations will be on display during the Nov. 18 - Jan. 1 event at the Embassy Suites Atlanta - Galleria hotel.

To vote for your favorite organization or tree, all you have to do is leave a monetary donation in the envelope at the base of each tree. The tree with the most amount of money collected will earn a little something extra from Embassy Suites.

During the 2013 holiday season, the Festival of Trees raised $29,900 for area nonprofits, including Camp Juliette Low, Homeless Pets Foundation, and The Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
