What Do I Need To Do To Prepare for My Eye Exam?

If you’re a new patient, it’s always great to bring your current eyeglasses. If you also wear contact lenses, bring your boxes of contacts (one for each eye) with your appointment. If you don't have the boxes contact your previous eye doctor and request a copy of your prescription.  This will be a good reference point for the Doctor to know what type of lens you have been wearing.

Why Do Contact Lens Exams Cost More?

Contact lens exams cover all of the evaluations that you get with a routine eye exam for eyeglasses, plus additional diagnostic information that indicate which contact lenses are right for you, also known as the "fit and follow up"

Contacts actually come in different sizes, and have different features, so it’s important that the right lens is selected for you.
