14-Year-Old Missing From Smyrna Area

The girl was last seen at her Smyrna home last week.

UPDATE (1:05 p.m.): 
Gwendolyn Isola, the 14-year-old girl who has gone missing from her Smyrna home, has a history of running away.

According to AM 1470 WRGA of Rome, Isola ran away from her great-grandparents' home over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2013. Isola was located in Polk County, where she had been spotted hitchhiking.

Authorities and family members of a missing 14-year-old girl are asking for the public's help to bring her home safely.

Gwendolyn Isola was last seen at her Smyrna home on Jan. 14. Isola is described as a white female, 5-feet-10 inches tall, weighing 130 lbs., with a slender build. She likes to dye her hair vivid colors. Isola also has facial piercings, but does not always wear them.

Isola has friends in the Rome and Cedartown areas.
