Accident Blocks Two Lanes of Cobb Parkway
Motorists are being asked to stay away from a section of the busy road.
The Smyrna Police Department is advising motorists to avoid a section of Cobb Parkway due to a traffic accident.
Just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, the department sent out an alert advising that the northbound lanes of Cobb Parkway at Lake Park Drive have been closed due to an accident and asks drivers to avoid that area.
The alert did not specify when the traffic situation would be resolved.
