Armed Man Robs Cobb Walgreens Pharmacy Monday

Cobb police say an armed man robbed an Austell Walgreens Pharmacy early Monday morning.

According to Sgt. Dana Pierce, a black male entered the store, located at 4170 Austell Road, at approximately 3:30 a.m. and approached the cashier while demanding money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the perpetrator fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as standing approximately 5-foot-5 and with a medium build. He had an “afro” and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black bandana with white markings. He was also armed with a handgun.
