Something missing here! How did you know he fled the area?

Smyrna Vinings Patch should have a column - Crimes of the Week. Save them all and publish just once a week. Tearing down Hickory Lakes Apartments didn't make any difference. So much for that rationale.

Why didn't the patch report on the December 16 armed robbery of the Papa Johns driver at the Glen Park apartments? They lured him there to rob him. People need to know the danger that is around here.

All cities have crime, that is just the nature of the beast. Tearing down Hickory Lakes did make a huge difference in the criminal activity in that area. I invite you to go the police department and research the crime stats and police activity, not to mention the fire department activity in that area.

Tearing down Hickory Lake caused at least a 50% drop in crime and calls for service in that area so it definitely made a difference. Also, this crime occurred on Cobb Parkway several miles from there. You obviously don't know a lot about the geography of the city you're bashing. Concerning the police department letting the public know about crimes in the area they post an interactive map on their website. I'm sorry they didn't come to your door and notify you personally.
