Arrests Made in Fatal Doc's Robbery

Two suspects have been arrested in the robbery-turned murder, while a third was killed on the scene by the eventual victim.

Three people have been arrested in connection to a robbery outside a popular Smyrna eatery that left one woman dead.

On the morning of Oct. 28, Ebonie Driskell and a friend were getting into Driskell's 2003 Ford Taurus outside Doc's Food and Spirits when they were approached by three people intent on robbing them, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

According to warrants obtained by the AJC, Driskell managed to shoot and kill one of the suspects, Quondre Bentley, before another suspect identified as Isadore Walker Barboza shot and killed Driskell.

Barboza and a third suspect, Renee Elizabeth Harris, then got in Driskell's car and drove away from the scene.

Harris was arrested on Thursday and Barboza was booked into the Cobb Adult Detention Center on Saturday, the AJC reports.
