Victims from Marietta and Austell.

Separate fatal car wrecks in Cobb County have left two people dead.

In the first accident, a crash on Paper Mill Road near Atlanta Country Club Drive in Marietta killed Eddie B. Strickland, 67, of Marietta, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Strickland was driving a 1929 Ford Model A eastbound slowly up a steep grade on Paper Mill Road when he was hit from behind by a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. His vehicle was forced into the westbound lanes, where it overturned and hit a 2004 Toyota Sienna, the paper reported.
