Men Accused of Trafficking Nearly 30-lbs. of Cocaine

Three men were arrested Wednesday after Marietta-Cobb-Smyrna agents found nearly 30 pounds of cocaine and a stolen gun at their home.

According to a Cobb County criminal warrant, agents conducted a "knock and talk" at a residence in the 1700 block of Merry Oak Road at 1 a.m. April 10.

"Upon executing the search warrant," an official wrote in the warrant, "approximately 13,526.136 grams of cocaine was located within the residence."

According to Major Robert Willard, commander with MCS, the street value is $1,352,613.60.

Upon further inspection, agents located a Hi-Point .380 caliber gun that was reported stolen through the Columbus Police Department in one of the bedrooms, records show.

Francisco Burgos-Salvador, Gerardo Martinez-Calderon and Lamberto Arturo Martinez-Calderon, who all lived at the home, were arrested on charges of trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana, or methamphetamine as well as theft by receiving stolen property.

Lamberto Arturo Martinez-Calderon faces an additional charge of giving a false name, address or birthdate to a law enforcement officer.

He allegedly told an agent that his name was Julio Gonzales.

"An ID located in the bedroom confirmed that accused did provide a false name," an official wrote in the warrant.

All three suspects are in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond. They also have U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement holds.
