Cobb Police Seeking Recruits

In an effort to step up recruiting, the Police Department has created a recruiting video and competitive salary package. The recruitment of out-of-state officers includes assisting with information about relocating, job opportunities for spouses and schools for children.

The starting salary for a police officer is $38,355.20, with an 18-month probation. The retirement benefits are among the best.
