Gas Main Break Reported at Smyrna Condo Complex
No injuries were reported as a result of the break.
Cobb County Fire Department reported no injuries resulting from a gas main break at a condo complex in the 1100 block of Killarney between Cobb Parkway and Circle 75 Parkway, said the Marietta Daily Journal.
Lt. Dan Dupree told Smyrna-Vinings Patch that the break occurred Tuesday morning when a contractor broke the gas line with a backhoe while working on the water line.
The fire department did not evacuate the complex, but did close the roadway until the line could be mended.
