Investigators Return to Scene of Fatal Accident
Traffic on Windy Hill Road will be reduced to one lane to allow investigators to work safely.
The Smyrna Police Department's STEP (Selective Traffic Enforcement Program) Unit will be at the site of Tuesday's fatal pedestrian collision.
According to the City of Smyrna, investigators will be in the vicinity of the QuikTrip on Windy Hill Road measuring the scene where the collision took place. Work is expected to begin at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Due to the work, eastbound traffic on Windy Hill Road will be reduced to one lane. Motorists should expect delays and congestion.
