Mattie's Call Issued for Smyrna Teen

Smyrna police have issued a Mattie’s Call for a 19-year-old girl with “diminished mental capacity” after she was last seen getting into a white or cream Chrysler 300 Saturday morning. At this time, Smyrna’s Public Information Officer Michael Smith said this is not believed to be an abduction, though the investigation is still ongoing.

Aniya Silas, 19, of Smyrna was last seen outside her apartment, Megan’s Pointe Apartments on Roswell Street. She was wearing a long black wig and has short hair underneath. It is not known what color her shirt is and she is wearing a capri-length jeans and pink and gray high-top sneakers.

Anyone with any information about Aniya’s location or who has seen her is asked to call 911 or the Smyrna Police Department at 770-434-6666.
