Update: Missing Woman Located in Smyrna

Adult female with a severe diminished mental capacity was reportedly coaxed into a man's car early Saturday morning just west of Cobb Parkway.

Update: The missing woman with diminished mental capacity was found safe in a Smyrna house late Saturday night. The whereabouts of the man whose car she got into earlier that day were still unknown late Saturday evening. Anyone with information is asked to call 911, Det. Local police authorities are investigating a missing adult female with a severe diminished mental capacity who reportedly was coaxed into a stranger’s vehicle off Windy Hill Road early Saturday.

According to the Marietta Police Department Detective Division, at around 2:30 a.m., Camellia Serena Warren, a 43-year-old black female, had walked to the Shell Station at 2001 Windy Hill Road with her daughter.

While there, an unknown male coaxed Warren into a black older model Crown Victoria with a chrome grill, tan interior and sporty rims and left eastbound on Windy Hill Road towards Cobb Parkway. Based on witness testimonies at the scene it is believed at this time that the unknown male was not aware of Warren’s diminished mental capacity.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, Marietta police reported that the vehicle had been located, but Warren is still missing.

Attached with this article is a photo of the man Warren may be with. His nickname is “New York” and he is known to frequent the Windy Hill Road and Hawthorne Road area.

According to the police, if left in an unknown location, Warren would not know how to get help, use a phone or find her way home. Her condition could be life threatening if dropped off outside and left exposed to the elements.

Warren is described as a black female, standing 5-foot-2, weighing 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink sweater, black pants, and a white or cream colored hooded jacket.
