Naked Woman Dances Her Way Into Jail

Westside resident arrested for dancing naked outside in Athens, Ga.

A Westside woman learned this week that it's best to dance in the buff inside one's apartment, not outside of it.

According to a story in the Athens Banner Herald, police arrived at the Regency Park Apartments on Sycamore Drive around 11 am Wednesday morning.

There, they found a naked woman--described as being five-feet-one-inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds--dancing outside her second story apartment while other residents watched her, shaking their heads, the story says.

The woman was arrested on a public indency charge. Before she was placed in the police car and taken to the Clarke County Jail, a neighbor went into the woman's apartment and got her some clothes.

Thats good the neighbor got her some clothes instead of letting the officers put her in the car undressed they are wrong for not getting the clothes themselves and why were the other residents outside looking instead if minding their own business I know her family is glad her name and picture was not included in the article MAY GOD BLESS THIS LADY AND HOPE SHE GETS THE HELP SHE NEEDS!!!

I think the police officers were in a hurry to get her away from the situation. Maybe they would have gotten her clothes if the neighborhood hadn't. When I was a child, a woman two doors away jumped over a back fence, completely naked, screaming. She kept jumping the fence while a bunch of children stared at her. She stayed in an institution for a few months; when she came out, she was fine. You are so right in hoping this woman gets help.

"five-feet-one-inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds" I have NEVER heard of a "bowling ball" that could wear Mardi Gras beads <:)

No wonder she was naked, it must be hell to find clothes to fit her figure!
