A man was killed in an accident on Powder Springs Road in Marietta on Saturday, July 14, when his Honda Accord moved into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
The driver of the black 1999 Honda Accord, while traveling northbound on Powder Springs Road near Pamela Circle, failed to maintain his lane and collided with a silver 2002 BMW X5.

Pro-TSPLOST Group Unveils New Ads
Untie Atlanta, a group supporting the July 31 TSPLOST referendum, has launched a new television ad and two radio spots.
The television ad titled “Tied Up,” captures a commuter, already late to see her child play in a baseball game, getting stuck in a traffic jam. The driver’s seat belts start to tighten around her, trapping her for another long trip home.
