UPDATE: Missing Smyrna boy found safe

Kevin Perez went missing Friday night after last being seen at Carriage House Apartments on Windy Hill Road.

UPDATE: Perez has been found He was found at a neighbors home around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Kevin Perez, a nine-year-old Smyrna boy, went missing from Carriage House Apartments on Windy Hill Road at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. Perez has black hair, brown eyes is about four feet tall and weighs about 60 pounds.

Police are asking for assistance finding Perez. If you have any information about his whereabouts call 911 or 770-434-6666.

This is Garrison Plantation - Garrison Lakes - Lakefront Vista. I lived there when it was family…Read More owned. It went from sister to brother then sold. Changed name from Garrison Plantation (because it wasn't PC) (but no one thought about what a garrison was) to Garrison Lakes (there's only one lake) to Lakefront Vista (under new ownership.) It's a dump now. The layout and size of the apts. are great. Even the location is great. Still know some people there. But it went downhill.

No wonder many young people, the vast majority of whom are or will be heterosexual find the church increasingly irrelevant in their lives with attitudes like this.
