Police seek man related to armed robbery
The perpetrator is described as a black male with a skinny frame about 5'10".
Cobb Police are asking for inforation regarding an armed robbery that occurred about Monday, Feb. 6 just outside Smyrna city limits.
A black male who appeared to be about 5-foot-10-inches tall and described as having a skinny build entered Discount Store located at 371 Pat Mell Road in Marietta at about 9:15 a.m. The man produced a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The woman handed the man some of the money from the cash drawer at which point the perpetrator demanded more and struck her in the head with the handgun.
The perpetrator fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money on a silver mountain bike with a straight frame and black decals. The bike lacked frame shocks. The perpetrator was last sene wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, acid wash jeans and a face covering.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call Cobb Police at 770-499-3945.
