Smyrna Bank Robbed; Police Seek Suspect

The alleged robber walked out with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Smyrna Police Department is seeking the public's help to discover the identity of a man they believe robbed a Smyrna bank on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, at approximately 2:25 p.m. on July 10, a man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank on 3261 S. Cobb Drive and presented a money demand note to the teller. The teller complied and gave the man the money. He then fled the area in a silver vehicle.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, aged approximately 18 to 24 years old, and stands around 5'6". He was last seen wearing a baggy gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and a light colored baseball cap.
