When Byers crossed the intersection of Concord Road and Hicks Road, he said the trailer became unhitched from the RV. Byers said he and his daughter noticed the trailer was gone about five minutes later and turned back to retrieve it. As they pulled to the intersection they saw a silver and white Toyota FJ Cruiser driving away with their trailer.

“We couldn’t get them to stop,” he said. “So the bottom line is somebody is either going to turn it in eventually or they stole it. It’s been a week and a half now.”
