Smyrna Man Arrested in Road Rage Incident

He was arrested on charges that include aggravated assault, criminal trespass and cruelty to children in the first degree.

Three juveniles were nearly run off Windy Hill Road in what police are calling an act of road rage.

The alleged incident occurred about 4:10 p.m. June 9, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

"Once the vehicle was stopped," Reginald Earl Jenkins of Smyrna allegedly punched the driver's side window twice, which "sent broken glass throughout the vehicle," according to the warrant.

Jenkins was arrested on charges that include aggravated assault, criminal trespass and cruelty to children in the first degree. He was released Monday on a $25,000 bond.
