Smyrna Man Dies in Cherokee Motorcycle Accident

Richard Seaborn Jenkins, 64, died when a motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and struck an embankment in northeast Cherokee.

A Smyrna man was killed in a motorcycle accident in extreme northeast Cherokee County Sunday afternoon.

The Georgia State Patrol responded to the accident around 4:10 p.m. on Conns Creek Road near Ball Ground Road, said spokesperson Gordy Wright.  

Richard Seaborn Jenkins, 64, of Smyrna was operating a 2003 Aprilia on Conns Creek Road when he left the roadway and hit an embankment.
