Smyrna Man Struck and Killed in Mableton
The driver of the car that struck the victim is not expected to be charged.
A man who was struck by a car and killed on Thursday night in Mableton has been identified as 61-year-old Dennis Michael Smith of Smyrna.
According to Cobb police investigators, Smith walked out in front of a grey 2011 Toyota Corolla that was traveling southbound on Mableton Parkway near Boggs Road.
Investigators do not expect to charge the driver, 26-year-old Ariel Britton of Powder Springs.
