Police seek suspects in South Cobb RaceTrac robbery

Two men take an undisclosed amount of cash from the Smyrna convenience store located just north of I-285.

Cobb County Police are seeking two men in connection with an armed robbery of a Smyrna RaceTrac convenience store this morning.

According to the investigators, the men entered the store located at 5191 South Cobb Drive after 6 a.m. and demanded the two female employees to open all the cash registers.

One of the offenders took an undisclosed amount of cash while the other pointed a handgun at the clerks. There were no injuries.

The two black men, who were last seen on foot heading southbound on South Cobb, were described as being in their mid to late 20s, with one reportedly wearing dark clothing.
